Recently, Mrs. Chen Xi, Member of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, led an inspection team on a workplace safety inspection tour of Xintang Subdistrict. Our company was among the units inspected. The team conducted a thorough, on-site review of key areas including our production workshops and warehouses — examining fire-safety equipment maintenance, employee safety training, and hazard identification and rectification through direct observation, review of records, and on-site interviews. Given the footwear-materials industry's characteristics of high volumes of flammable materials and dense staffing, the inspectors also raised specific requirements regarding the accessibility of fire escape routes, the upkeep of fire-safety equipment, and employees' proficiency in using fire-fighting equipment. The company takes this matter with the utmost seriousness. We would like to share the following statement on our workplace safety management practices:
1. Reinforcing Primary Responsibility and Strengthening Our Management System
We treat workplace safety as a non-negotiable red line in our operations. We have established a comprehensive safety accountability system that clearly defines safety responsibilities at every position and level of the organization, ensuring that responsibility is broken down and implemented layer by layer. We regularly conduct employee safety training and emergency drills to continuously strengthen safety awareness and emergency-response capability across the workforce, working to embed the principle that ‘everyone speaks safety, everyone understands safety’ into every stage of daily production.
2. Driving Rectification and Ensuring Immediate, Thorough Follow-Through
For issues identified during inspections as well as hazards found through our own routine self-checks, we apply a management approach built on itemized checklists, deadline-based rectification, and designated ownership — ensuring that every issue identified is corrected and verified, with no blind spots and no going through the motions. In parallel, we continue to increase investment in safety, upgrading fire-safety equipment on an ongoing basis to keep fire escape routes clear at all times and fire-fighting equipment fully functional, addressing safety risks at their source.
3. Strengthening Ongoing Education and Fostering a Culture of Safety
In conjunction with National Work Safety Month, we continue to strengthen safety education for our employees through pre-shift briefings, dedicated training sessions, and emergency drills, encouraging staff to draw broader lessons from specific cases and to identify and correct issues on their own initiative. We are committed to embedding safety awareness and requirements into every detail of daily production operations and to firmly upholding the baseline of workplace safety.
