The 6th China Huidong Shoe Culture Festival will be held in Huizhou Convention and Exhibition Center from November 23 to 25. This year's Shoe Culture Festival is co-sponsored by China Leather Association and Huidong County People's Government, co-organized by Guangdong Footwear Manufacturers Association and Guangdong Leather Association, and co-organized by Huidong County Small and Medium Enterprises Bureau, Huizhou Radio and Television Media Group and Huidong County Footwear Industry Association. With the theme of displaying Huidong fashion shoes, expanding the domestic and foreign markets of Huidong footwear industry, and promoting the accelerated transformation and upgrading of Huidong footwear industry, more than 300 booths have been launched, at the same time, a series of activities such as fashion women's shoes online mall exhibition, Huidong famous and special products exhibition, 2013 international fashion women's shoes fashion trend conference, Huidong economic and social development achievement exhibition, fashion women's shoes model performance and Huidong county investment environment promotion meeting were held.
From 2002 to 2010, Huidong has successfully held five shoe culture festivals, promoted the regional characteristic brand of "China women's shoes production base-Huidong", demonstrated the charm of Huidong fashion women's shoes, promoted the close foreign cooperation and exchange of Huidong shoe making enterprises, further expanded the domestic and foreign markets of Huidong shoe industry, and improved the innovation level of Huidong shoe industry. China Huidong Shoe Culture Festival is based on Huidong shoe-making industry. It has distinctive characteristics and conforms to the trend of the times. It is a comprehensive cultural event integrating business and trade exchanges.
According to the person in charge of Huidong County, since 2002, Huidong County has held a China Huidong Shoe Culture Festival every two years. At present, it has been successfully held for 5 sessions. The first three and the fifth were held in Huidong County. The 4th China Huidong Shoe Culture Festival and China Women's Shoe Production Base Fashion Women's Shoe Order Fair were held in Guangzhou Pazhou Poly World Trade Center Expo Hall and The 104th Canton Fair was held at the same time. However, in addition to Huidong County and Guangzhou, the upcoming sixth session will have a new venue, Huizhou Convention and Exhibition Center in Huizhou City.
"This shoe culture festival is co-sponsored by China Leather Association and Huidong County People's Government, and co-organized by Guangdong Footwear Manufacturers Association, Guangdong Leather Association, and Guangdong Shoe Materials Chamber of Commerce. It will become a festival for the leather shoe industry." Han Weibin, member of the Standing Committee of Huidong County Party Committee and executive deputy county magistrate, said that the 6th China Huidong Shoe Culture Festival will set up a special hall in Huizhou Convention and Exhibition Center, with more than 300 booths and more than 200 enterprises participating in the exhibition, fully displaying the high-quality fashion women's shoes designed and manufactured by Huidong. It is expected that more than 1000 domestic and foreign merchants will be invited to come to business negotiations.
At present, Huidong footwear industry has developed to more than 4900, producing 0.7 billion pairs of shoes in 2011. It has 11 famous and excellent products in Guangdong Province, 21 trademarks in Guangdong Province, 28 famous and excellent products in Huizhou City and 36 famous trademarks in Huizhou City. More than 60 well-known international and domestic footwear brands such as Camel, Anna Sui, Fendi, Belle, Best, Conley, Daphne and Saturday have chosen Huidong Enterprises as manufacturers.
